Trick
Often,
when a juggler comes up with a new trick, the trick
is not particularly new or novel looking - though
it may be distinguishable for various reasons. There
are a few exceptional jugglers out there who regularly
come up with something quite new and innovative
(Karas and Penman for instance) but most jugglers
can only claim fame to one or two unique tricks
if they happen to be especially creative. Occasionally,
I will post some of those notable tricks so that
you can see some of the most novel and innovative
tricks listed in one place - here they are!!!

Slaps
This
is perhaps the most difficult Multiplex pattern
with five balls! The trick is so convoluted that
it may take you quite some time to learn but it
is well worth the effort as it is a very flashy
trick!

Michael
Karas came up with this great variant of the Machine
a couple years ago but it remains a nice highlight
in anyone's repertoire! I do a version of this where
I do a horizontal Chop at the bottom instead of
a Reachover Catch so that each hand makes an entire
square pattern. This looks especially nice with
glow balls.

String
While
driving on the highway one day, I came up with the
idea of the trick Windshield
Wipers. At the next rest stop, I pulled over
and tried the trick. However, I was fairly new to
juggling and couldn't quite pull it off. Instead,
I ended up doing the M String. While this trick
isn't that tough, it is a gem worth learning ...
and sharing because I have found that audiences
consistently smile or laugh when I juggle this trick.
Besides, it gets you thinking outside of the proverbial
box so when you go to do a String based trick, you
just might come up with a new idea ... or maybe
it is on the site already and you just need to do
a new search!

Switchback
This
trick looks like a cross between Rubensteins Revenge
and the Turnover or maybe it is only a one-sided
Romeos Revenge. Either way, it is a nice trick worth
adding to your repertoire and it deserves to be
the first featured trick on this site! Click on
